is there a program that will have my wallpaper cover 2/3 of my desktop?

usually what I do is use photoshop to resize the pic and put it to a background color that matches the desktop ..

Go into display properties then to the desktop tab. On the right you will see a drop down box that says Position above it and will probably be set to Stretch.
Click on the drop down arrow then change that so it says Center.
Now click on apply.

That all depends what size wallpaper they are using. That would work if their res was 1024 x 768 and they had a 800 x 600 wallpaper for example.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
