Iron Browser based on Chromium

    I had tested Google's Chrome and I liked it...I'm used to the added functionality of Firefox so Google's recent announcement that they will be adding extenstions is great.


    I have since tried Iron, a chromium build without all the tracking settings. I've loved every second of it and hope you guys give it a try if you like Chrome.

    Seems worthless. All they did was strip out the "privacy" stuff from the source, which if you have a Google account or use Google they have anyways. Oh and I really doubt this ...
    Just a group trying to get famous by using someone elses code. ;)

    well chromium is the open source project behind chrome. they didn't massively change the code but it seems to run better than Google's Chrome.

    Perris, it's almost no different from Chrome in anyway. I've just noticed some performance increases (may not be actual) and the emphasize on privacy (whether real or not) makes me like it.

    Oddly scrolling (major for me but probably not most) is a lot smoother.
