Dudes, whatever. Just a poorly handled product launch - not the END OF LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.
Yes it is.not the END OF LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.
Yes it is.
I'd say phone company (AT&T, O2, ect) as I could get on iTunes, buy Apps from the Apps store and such but just couldn't activate my phone.so who was to blame at&t or apple - loads or rumours floating about but very little fact, some say at&t servers couldnt handle all the activation requests others say it was apple as itunes server fell over as people were trying to get 2.0 firmware
Yeah, that is my guess as the iTunes store itself seemed fine (at least to me).Probably had to talk to the providers systems too, maybe a **** up in communication between the two
Ended up buying a regular Iphone locked to ATT, with the new iphone 2.0 software. I have to say, I'm not disappointed. The way I see it, if I need gps or 3g, I've got my 8925/Tytn II and I can use that whenever, but the Iphone is a nifty little toy to have. I must say though, without the new apps availability, it must have sucked...
well, if u already have a smartphone, the plan cost wont change, I had my smartphone set up with a 20 dollar a month unlimited internet plan. and when i activated my "old" Iphone, that plan rolled over to the Iphone.I was thinking about getting an older one, but thought about it and my problem is the price for the phone, its the data plans that I have to pay for.
