Internet Connection Cuts out

I have this weird problem that has popped up recently.

While connected to the internet, my connection will just stop. Programs already connected however (irc clients, IM clients) remain connected, but I can't make any new network connections like surfing the web. It requires a restart to fix but I hate restarting every 15 minutes just to fix it. Enabling/disabling the connection also doesn't work.

Anyone have any ideas? This is totally annoying.

Strange, I'd suspect a p2p or irc client tho. I've had them occasionally screw up my connection.

I suspected the same thing, but it also happens when just browsing the web. I have no spyware or anything. PC is totally clean, but still happens.

The weird thing is, if I just leave the PC on for some time, I eventually get my connection back.
