Installing new boot drive

Got blue screened with bad_system_config_info 2 or 3 times on hard boot. since I demoted my original boot drive of 40 Gb, parted in 2.

Installed 80 g drive as boot drive and now is called g, with the original being called c and d. All jumpers changed. Works fine after I get Windows option screen after soft boot and choose normal startup.

Checked help for system configure and am not quite sure if I want to follow their suggestions. There are no caveats there and I do not want to destroy what I have now.

1) How can I copy files from c to g safely? d is empty

2) How can I change the drive ID's to normal sequence?

Thanking you in advance,

augie

Try ghost from Symantec, you could perform a disk to disk clone.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
