Installing Linux on an Older Laptop

    I have a PIII, 64 Megs, 10 Gb hdd. I would like to try install Linux on this machine. I'm a Linux noob and this will be my first try at it. I'm wondering if its even worth trying to install Linux on it. W2K runs sloooooooooooooooow on it.

    Linux would work very well. Try ubuntu on it it is good for getting started.
