install xp

As many times as your hard drive can take it, I suppose. What would stop you?

As many as you like - if you haven't added any new hardware.

If it asks for reactivation just ring up MS and get them to do it (or do it via the net) - just say that you've added a new motherboard and its popped up asking for activation. Sound innocent. They might quiz you about peer-2-peer sharing and whether you use it to download movies and music and stuff like that - just make out you've never heard of!!

They did that to me but i played it cool!

you sure that will work? will they ask for a rececipt number ?

Don't worry about activation. Never heard of anyone having a problem even if they had to ring microsoft. I've activated my system at least a dozen times with no hassle.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
