    Merry Xmas all!
    Both of the boxes at home have multiple desktops for the kids and adults.
    How can you restrict the various im programs (yahoo, windows messenger etc. ) so that they load on the kids desktops only.
    I know moving programs from the all startup folder to individual startup folders works for some programs but not all.
    Are there registry entryies that can be performed or other ???
    As neither my better half or myself use this programs, they are a pain to close off each time we log in. My daughter must have at five of these things going at once.

    This is a registry setting. There are options in both programs that are running the program at startup. Browse through the options and disable this setting.
