IE Problems

OK here is a weird problem. On the home page of this site IE will not let me open any links from the main page (all links other than the main "news events" work) When I click the link all I get is a blank web page - now none of the buttons or options work on this new blank page, but if I manually type the link url everything works fine. Also I noticed on this new blank page my adshield icon is missing but again if I type the url in the page will load and the adshield icon is there and all buttons and functions work.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
