it seems that for some reason, any site that uses javascript doesnt work on my pc anymore... for example, in this very forum, when u click on 'replies' to see who has posted in a particular thread, I get the following error:

    javascript:who(17349)

I've tried reinstalling IE, and even resetting the internet settings.. but to no avail. I have tried doing the same things with other broswers, such as Mozilla, and it works fine...

Have you tried disabling script debugging?
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced

What I did was to go to windows update do a personnel search for Virtual machine download and install, to verify that you have the same problem I did go here: skysports if the page loads then you don't.

Your first clue... Use Mozilla =)

erm... Have you recently installed ad/banner blockers???

If so, some disable javascript to stop popups. (ZoneAlarm Pro does it this way)

Perhaps you have a IE specific version of the blocker and that is why Mozilla works.

But as i first said... Use Mozilla =)

Stick with the good thing... throw the crap away.

    Microsoft Idiot Exploiter 6 =)

Yep, that was exactly it. I recently bought AdSubtract Pro. I turned it off, and everything worked fine again.... thanks man!
