ICS status..vanished

Wierd..

I have ADSL modem connected to a machine and through the lan (switch) I use ICS to connect to the net. (XP prof, and XP home).

For a while the client (home) had an ICS and Lan connection under "Network Connections" and the status of ICS displayed the client & servers packet transfers but now this has vanished! I only have the Lan connection but I can still connect to the net...wierd? I wouldnt mind have this icon back if anyone knows how?

This happened to me as well back when I used ICS. If I remember it correctly it was because I had set a static IP instead of using DHCP. So turn DHCP back on if it's off and it should work.
