Well I thing the forebear of PC hard disks was the Seagate ST506 with 5 MB. Its formula have been retained unchanged since to ST4053 40 Mbyte 5 1/4 inch, full-height. It was about 1989 when I purchased an NIXDORF PC with such a brawly thing.

Wow, that 21MB is ancient, I actually saw this old hard drive a local steel factory used to use. If was like the size of 2 17inch monitors. Freakin enormous.

Heinz Nixdorf (died in 1986) : Famous for systems with multiple terminals in the banking sector. Most of the Nixdorf PC flopped and in 1999 the company was purchased by SIEMENS.
