i want to make boundaries between xp user accounts

ok im sharing XP with 2 other users and whenever they download a program and put the icon on their desktop, the icon also magically gets put on my desktop too. how can i make it so we have diff desktops and that their icons don't go onto mine????

Change the download location to C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Desktop instead of All Users

well is there somwhere where i can change it in XP settings so i won't have explain and confuse my family.

No worries. In Tweakui go to My Computer tab and change the location of the desktop folder for each user, so your family won't have to meddle with any settings themselves. Or if you're using a download manager, change the download location in program settings.
