anyone nows how to disable the "Set as background" option in internet explorer 6, i m using windows 98

plzz help me out, need it urgently

Don't know if you can. Don't click on it. If someone does just go to desktop/properties & change it back.

if you want to stop people from changing the background using the "Set as Background" feature in IE, then find the file named "Internet Explorer Wallpaper.bmp", right-click on it and select properties. In the properties set the file to Read Only. Whenever anyone tries to change the background all they should get is a message saying "Access Denied".
