Anyone know of an app that can do this? Preferably something that i can bind a key to to raise or lower gamma. I know my friend had something that did this on his comp. I think it was powerstrip but that is shareware and i dont have money to spend on gamma lol.

Is this any good to you "NightVision is a gamma control application program"

Get it here for free >>NightVision

i used to use NVMax - and I hear rivatuner does the job good too...

Since I formatted a while ago though - it seems to be a lot lighter in certain games without the need for extra programs... perhaps it was a driver thing in my case...

Thats why I love my monitor so much, bless you ViewSonic for putting a 'ultra brite' button on my monitor :D

All I have to do is press the button and it brightens up the screen, or goes into what it calls 'Game/Graphics Mode', press it again and it goes back to 'Text/Worksheet Mode' which is less bright and easier on the eyes.

;)

Oh and ya, for your question, I think rivatuner is a good way to go, and it also does overclocking, so you get the best of both worlds.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
