I have a dell system dimension 8200, and last night i was looking inside of i386 opem installation folder and found drivers for all 3dfx cards certifed by microsoft with full support for directx 8.1
I checked date release, it's june last year , i couldn't believe, if somebody can help me to upload those drivers, it could help a lot.
How made those drivers, maybe nvidia, maybe 3dfx anyway those drivers have certification. :)

Sorry for gram mistakes...those drivers are just for win XP and Win 2000.

The BIG problem with those particular drivers...

is that they LACK OpenGL support, So you will have trouble running games like RTCW (Q3 engine) and HL-engine games (which do not work well with D3D).

I have found that the HOE drivers (and other fairly new 3rd party drivers) found on voodoofiles.com work better, even though they are not officially "blessed" by Microsoft.

    Good luck:D
