Instead of taking shots at kazaa why not suggest a better software than kazaa?
Also why not send an email to sharman networks letting them know you opinion, using of course constructive vocabulary, so they don't just blow you off as some child with an attitude problem.
I am sure if you have legitimate concerns they will listen. I agree the fake files on the program really are degenerative to the overall P2P experience. But if you find a fake, simply rename it to FILENAME -FAKE

That should take care of it. Or simply remove it from your share as soon as you realize it is a fake.

The wrongly named files and looped mp3s are what you have to put up with if you use kazaa. The fact your not paying excludes the right to moan and complain. Simple as.

As Bytes Back already said, if you want guaranteed working games, software and music go and buy them.

Its only really usefull for music purposes imo. Everything else seems to die after two mins and then takes hours and hours downloading at 5k.

Cant complain though, its free. (SO FAR! :O)

Ok the new one does blow with that participation crap, and the stupid spyware, and all...
BUt there are fixes and regarding the files, you can preview most ****, and if it loops or acts funny, or is another file, just stop and cancel the download.
But it doesn't work on every file...
