Their site never works, all of the new drivers they realeas are full of bugs and sometimes dont work at all.

Stay away from Teac!
Never had a problem with the bios autoupdater (german site is usually working).
However I went to the Tec site to update the firmware for my burner, downloaded the firmaware (no warnings) and everything went ok.
However I go to the UK site and the same firmware has been removed due to too many bugs!!! Now my burner freezes.
The fixed firmware is now out however I cannot re-program it as it says that I already have the latest version and it is impossible (bollocks) to downgrade it!
This is my second drive the other just died on it's own....
Stay with Pioneer I have NEVER had any trouble with them.
Plus they never answer there support e-mail and there FAQ's are things like... Is you computer turned on at the mains etc.!!!
