I am not trying to make this a religious thread. I am simply stating something that I am proud of and happy to do. I also just wanted to share it with you guys. I am exited, for the first time in my life I have something to be excited about; and something to look forward to.

Things this past couples of months have really been looking up. I'm going back to college, Became a born again Christian, have a better relationship with my wife, and am being a better person with my family and friends. Those are good things. And hopefully, they will stay ....

*Note: I edited this and tried to delete it, I wasn't able to. I then edited it to state it was a dupe thread and asked someone to delete it and started another one in the green room. That one got deleted lol .. So someone please move this. And if you delete please pm me to let me know ..

If that's something you are proud of then congratulations. I was never baptized and am not religious but respect others' beliefs.

Technically, infant baptism isn't biblical.. baptism being an outward acknowledgement of the individual's decision to believe in Christ as Messiah - I haven't meant one infant capable of making such a decision.

Yep, a baby being baptized is more of a dedication. People tend to get them confused. A baptizm doesn't usually happen till, at the earliest, the individual is a teenager. At least is how it happens at my church anyhow. Then diff religions have diff ways of doing it.

In the Catholic church, it's typically done at birth, with the ritual of "confirmation" being done in adolesence. In my case, I was first baptized in the Catholic church during adolescence; and then latter in life, albeit it wasn't exactly a Christian denomination...

I s'pose the thinking among Catholics, is they can make that choice wrt the confirmation, whereas wrt Protestant churches (my parents are protestant), they didn't have an equivallent ritual to the confirmation itself...

You must be,all other "born agains" I've seen or met are religious nutcases that cling to some form of christianity, contradicting themselves and the bible every chance they get to gt up on the soap box.

I would suggest you stop being "born again" and just be a sensible christian of one of the variations of the theme.
