I found a bag of donuts

    true

I was walking along, saw this pristine white bag with orange-red writing on it.

I picked up the bag, and sure enough, there was something in it, but I didn't want to look right there.

so I hopped in my car, drove home, got down stairs where my television set is, opened the bag.

    bing...13 donuts.

    all differant types too!

I don't know if I should turn this in or keep it.

    what do you think?

    They're not mine.

Off topic, I notice a lot of net users spell this word 'different', 'differant', why is this?

Not my nuts as I never carry a pristine bag, always a dirty rucksack.

You carry your donuts in a rucksack?
they don't give you box, or a proper bag?
or do you just politely decline and say no, this rucksack will do just fine.

I must spend a few days explaining my sense of humour.

I don't eat donuts (hence the word nuts).....I won't bother explaining the rest as it is butchering Perris's thread!

I'd turn them in to the cops. You can be assured they will be put to good use them...

Besides, who knows how they have been tampered with. (urine, feces, saliva, drugs, bacteria).

When I first saw the title I thought someone found doug nuts in a bag and wondered what doug nuts were.

Then I read the post and saw it was about doughnuts not dougnuts.

Can't beat a banana-filled doughnut, although a plain one would come in a close second for me.

I used to have a strange infatuation with McDonald's doughnuts...whenever I ordered from there, I had to pick up a chocolate-covered one :D

..I can also see how off-topic this post has already turned into! :)
