I have installed and uninstalled Adobe Illustrator few weeks ago. And now I just found out that I couldnt get into the Font folder in Control Panel. I dunno if this is caused by uninstalling the Illustrator.

Now I can't install new fonts because I can't open that folder...
    Please help me~~~ Many thanks!

Can you access the Font folder though Windows Explorer (C:\WINDOWS\Fonts)?

You can also try TweakUI (available from Microsoft) and the Repair Fonts Folder tool.

    Once installed...

    Start
    Run
    tweakui
    Repair
Select Repair Font Folder in dropdown
    Repair Now

I tried using Tweakui but seems that it didn't help. When I click on Repair Font Folder, nothing happens. I click click click click it but still nothing happens!
I guess I might have to run Windows XP again...

Madmatt, I just tried typing C:\WINDOWS\Fonts on the bar and I can access the Font Folder now. Thanks.
But no luck on clicking in the Font Folder in Control Panel... :(

I would try to do a System File Check on your files.

Insert your Windows XP CD into your drive

    Click Start, go to Run

Type "sfc /scannow" - no quotes

The process will take awhile to run, and you won't know when it's finished except the dialog box will dissappear. After that, reboot your PC and visit http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com to make sure your computer is up-to-date :)
