how to save my favorites before reformatting?

    anyone know how i can save my favourite web pages all in one go instead of having to write the addresses down one by one before i reformatt my comp? i could save the whole folder in win98 but cant seem to do this in xp.

    you'll find it in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator(or whatever you log on as)

    i use the file and settings wizzard, set manually to get the files i need + xp settings. that way you can save your archived emails as well.
    (I run it weekly as part of my backup)

    you can use the 'import export' feature in IE for favorites and cookies as well...
