Hello,

I want to copy a folder containing all my web site from an computer (under XP) to another. Unfortunatly, when I copy the folder, the creation/modification of the new folder and ALL the sub-folder is altered to current time. This is not acceptable in this case, because management web site software want to upload all my web site :(

I tried to zip the folder before copying and unzip locally, but the pb is the same...

Do you know a simple way to copy without altering the date of the folder ?

Thaks a lot

I've tried to do that before and have yet to figure out a way :( i'm sure it's some simple trick but I have yet to discover it :(

You could use the backup util (start/programs/accessories/system tools) to creat a single file, transfer that file to the new location and restore it. Or if the computers are on the same Lan use the same backup util to resore it and select a different location...

This will preserve date and time...

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
