I did it before but forgot how. What length of time should i set it for ?
Here you go
Or by timeout did you mean time before disconnect?
Control Panel/Internet Options/Connections/Settings/Properties/Options
When i am trying to get a new web page, if it takes too long to get, it stops trying to get it and says connection timed out. I don't get the page.
I tried both of your suggestions. Unfortunately neither worked. I am on AOL browser. Thank you for trying. Any other sugestions will be greatly appreciated.
Solution = change browser. You've gotta check this out
Create a new DWORD value, or modify the existing value, called "KeepAliveTimeout" and set it according to the value data below
Ummm....Dealer, that was what my first link was referring to
When I paste "regdit" into my runbox then my computers says that I'm an idiot, and that he cant find it...
Must've been a late nighter...or too much booze - Just kidding.
Dealer's been a great help around the forum
