    You use layers. And preferraby you write it better so it works in other browsers than IE.

    Yup. I'm a bit too tired to give you a tutorial, but there should be scripts for this at any place that provide free scripts pretty much. It's categorized as DHTML I would guess.

    Yup, that is accomplished using layers(NS4)/DIVs all right. From the look of it, that script is called "overlib".

    I have something similar at my site if you are interested, it's called "Alttxt" and can be found in the "Mouse Effects" section of my site: http://scriptasylum.com... Oh yeah, and it's free. :)

    whatever it uses, it doesnt work in Firebird. I had to open up IE to see what you meant :)

    Layers is effectively DIV tags with styled positioning
