A friend keeps getting a pop up from his AV, PCcillin, which keeps telling him adw softomate is trying to connect to the internet. Can ya look at his HJT log and see what if anything needs to be deleted?

    Thanks Guys!

I don't see a lot. I'd get rid of the java stuff, mainly cause I hate java and it doesn't need to look for updates as often as it does. I have no idea what sprtcmd.exe is and google doesn't show much either. Also I have no idea why there are so many entries for this:

    O18 - Protocol: bw+0 - {19F68E89-16E5-4390-8D5E-D881798F2064} - C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\BWPlugProtocol-8876480.dll

Not much help but its the best I can do.

Adware/malware in system restore. Turn off system restore then run a full virus scan and a full adware scan with Ad-Aware or equivalent. After all is OK then they can turn system restore back on.
