Help!!!

    duno if this is in the wrong place but if it is im sorry now to my lil prob :mad: where the red writin is wots this n how do u think it got there any 1 else got it ? any 1 info on it ? plz cheerz

    that hardware "list" doesn't do me any good. all i know now is you have a realtek pci nic and firewire capability from something.

    i need to know...
    - motherboard (brand/model/chipset)
    - any and all pci cards
    - any and all usb/firewire devices

    Looks like the modem ?

    if it is > whip it out > have a look who its made by

    go to the manufacturers website & download the driver for it

    m/b is msi ms-6382

    only cards in is the 56k modem with firewire but ive disabled it as u can see in first screen shot and the graphics card every thing else is on board:(

    I get this when i dont have the right modem drivers. Try windows update, i expect they have the driver although it might not be the latest

    yeah, probly a modem driver.

    trigger, here's a general tip...

    to truly disable your firewire card, enable the net adapter and disable the "OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" or whatever is underneath that "IEEE 1394" category. afterwards, you'll see that the net adapter isn't even there.
