Now I really need some help from u guys!
I´m trying to remotly control a server that sits on DSL with dynamic IP. But the IP changes from time to time and that´s the problem.

Do any of u know of any app that will sit on the server and from time to time send the server IP to me by mail or something else?

The hole thing of remote control seems to go away if I have to go there and find out the IP before I can start....

www.no-ip.com

Thye give you a DNS redirect (yourserver.no-ip.com or yourserver.myftp.org or a number of other choices) and there are programs you can run on your server to keep them updated. There are updaters for various OS:s.

I use them with an update client for linux on my server. Works very well.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
