Help me get rid of this!!!

  1. Hey guys,

I have a file (winzip32) on my desktop that I can not either access, or delete. It is using 0kb of room. every time I even click on it, my sytem hangs up. I cannot delete it by accessing the desktop folder either. My computer is running fine, but that file on my desktop is really annoying me...lol. Any ideas as to how to remove it? BTW, the icon representing the file is just a generic "window" icon...not a WinZip Icon. Any help will be greatly appreciated...

I would open the task manager > end explorer.exe process > new task > type in "cmd" > change into your desktop directory > del winzip32

  3. It worked beautifully. Thanks!
