Hi:
Yesterday when I turned on my computer some of my desktops shortcuts had a .lnk extension. There were only a few availables. I tried to access my programs through the Start button, but they also appeared with the .lnk extension.
Can somebody help me in how to solve this? What causes this to happen? Is it a virus?

Thank you
Schila

.lnk is the file extension for a shortcut. If you click on these, it should open the applications. What happens when you try it?

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
