SpeedFan and Motherboard Monitor are popular on desktops, but they may not work properly on all notebooks. Check the compatibility tables, or install them to see if they work.
If it's a Dell notebook, there's a utility called I8kFanGUI that I use. It monitors CPU, GPU, and HDD temps, and also allows you to control fan speeds etc.
What are you looking for specifically when you mean a better battery monitor? The XP one works fine for me.
Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
