Having Prob. with bitpim 8

Hi this is my first post on this site glad to have joined all of you.
I have do some testing with other items and now would like to try my v3c but having some problems with my Bitpim 8 will not see the phone.
i have transferred some waves, midi, & MP3 but phone will not let me set as ringtones like some of our other members.
i have read a lot of the form but still no go hope someone can help.

Yes thanks for the reply. i have tryed using the MMCenter i can put midi & Wave onto the phone but i cannot make it my ring tone but i can listen to the song.
any ideas ??????????
