I have to say that Halo is one of those games where a controller would be best, it was designed that way. If you notice, most targets are on the horizontal plane as it is really tough to move a controller an and down on the vertical plane really fast.

yeah i think the pc and xbox version but had their advantages and disadvantages...like pc had online play and xbox had co-op....and playin on a tv always beats computer monitors

I don't see why they should be illegal. Almost every Xbox owner who isn't subscribed to LIVE is using it.
