grokster problem!

hey guys,
long time no talk, i have a problem with grokster, the other week i never had this problem though, the problem is that when i am downloading a song or movie and i click on preview nothing happens, no sound nothing, even if the song is half way downloaded, this never happened like a couple of days ago, my dad uses grokster to download music and hes really pissed off about it, so i am trying to fix it with him, by the way, don't know weather this has got anything to do with it, but i recently installed windows media player corona 2773 or whatever that is

please help me,

surely someone must be able to help me, now my computer is fucking up all the time, might have to reformat again, 2nd time in less than 3 weeks

My workaround is
Create a shortcut to your media player (winamp)
in your SendTo folder
right click on your download.dat file
& send it to your media player

many people have problems with theire computer after they installed wmp 9. Si i think thats the problem.
