    Yeah, thats pretty funny :D
Although of course once again, if true, shows ebay really can't protect you if someone tries to scam :(

still have to question someone's mental capacity if they BUY pre-release software.... from eBay..... supposedly for $150. You'd think he'd know that there are ways to get Windows 7 in a way that isn't necessarily illegal.... and not quite as stupid as paying $150 for something that apparently didn't have a picture of the real product.

But it does suck about the fraud protection thing, if his story is actually true.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but, did you read the story? I can see if you just skimmed through it, in which case I would complain about the internets and kids today not being able to read, or alternatively not being able to read something that is more than a paragraph in length. But just in case. I am going along with the premise that you got linked to a url by the Washington Post, and are thus the unwitting victim of a reprinted post from Cracked.com.

To believe otherwise would just destroy my perception of you...really it would be devestating to me if all the people here are only literate 12 year olds:speechless:

Hey.... people get scammed all the time on eBay... and i'm fairly certain that their fraud protection isn't flawless.
