Gotta get a new car.

You are only supposed to put 93 octane or higher in my (Acura) TL. The manual, dealership, and Acura/Honda not only suggest it but go as far to say performance, horsepower, and gas mileage will suffer if you don't.

You could fill the tank with water too, that doesn't mean it will work like it should.

Sure, you could do that, but you'd be screwed so...
Im saying, if gas prices get up to 10 bucks for premium and 8 for regular, you COULD put regular in your car. and it wouldnt hurt it.
Sure, there goes the high horsepower speedy little car you like but it will save you money.

I think it would be shady if anyone who decided to put lower quality gas in their tank to be the same people who turn their car in for warranty repairs...

I hope you are already past your warranty, because technically if you decide to do that, its voiding the warranty.

They specify that gas for a reason...

mlakrid brings up a very good point. For anyone who spends 35-40K plus on a vehicle shouldn't be complaining about gas prices anyway.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
