Hey guys is this a good CPU fan, and a good price for it?
I would order it with arctic silver 3, the 80mm vantec fan
and standard fan guard and fan guard color.

    This makes it cost $33.
    I want it to power a barton 2500+ oc'd to 22/2400mhz

    thx in advance

Friend of Bill What, me worry?

It's a good fan however, you can get a Delta fan with the same specs at a cheaper price (they last long as well).:) As far as heat sinks, the Swiftech's are my choice.

The vantec has 35CFM and the one that i have the link
for has 84CFM, isn't it like if you have more CFM that means
more airspreading and thus better cooling?

look into getting a Thermalright SK-8 or SK-9 amazing heatsinks.... as far as fans, the Deltas are good fans!

In the older day for basic coolers your right but if you read on there site based on the new tech they put into the fan and the controls of it youll notice theres no main motor, and the heatsink is designed different for all others with delta fans. Ive owned one...actually a thermoengine with the biggest delta from But in comparesent this one beats delta in cooling. Also heatsink doesnt have a full copper core, its a hollowed out copper core and the fins on the heatsink distrubute the heat in a more professinal way.

I'll take a look at the swiftech, but if it's too expensive
than the ocsystem one then i won't do it hehe
