Fresh Download is free and I've heard it's good. I just posted an update on the front page, you can read it here :)

FreshDownload is quite good, the one and only problem that I had with it is the fact you can't highlight a load of links at once then drag them all accross, i find this handy on wallpaper sites etc :)
Other than that, its a great tool, and free, wooo :D

He's asking for free, as I recall neither Flashget nor Getright are free. Fresh Download is :)

I've used DAP, Go!Zilla, Fresh Download and FlashGet. Currently, I'm using FlashGet but I wouldn't recommend Fresh Download. It's free but slower and lack other features.

The only time I need a download manager is when I'm downloading linux ISOs ... so FreshDownload works just fine for me. :)

Well if you must know......I use Net Vampire. Why? Cause I love the name. :D

It is ad supported but I found if you don't tick any boxes when installing you don't get any ads. :D
