My application menu as far as i know sorts itself, and if i install a port from my FreeBSD port tree which is intended for use with Gnome it is automatically added. However some applications are not added... does anyone know how i can add in applications to my menu, in KDE it is as easy as right-clicking and choosing menu editor... there is no obvious option i can see for this in gnome.

thanks in advance

I honestly dont know, if you logout and in again do they seem to magically appear??
it could be something in the gnome-config thinger though

does anyone know how to gnome menu items under RedHat 9?

i'm using GNOME as normal user but i tried the procedure above and it says "operation not permitted". i tried adding items under Slackware. why doesn't it work with RedHat?

i have only ever used RH9 for a limited amount of time... only about 2hrs... and during that time it was KDE that i used. Im not sure how this might be fixed by try adding your user to 'root' or 'wheel' groups.

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
