Ghost recon problem

    Whats up everybody this is my first post on this forum and as youve probably gathered im pretty new to windows xp, ive got an xp 1800+, visiontek geforce ti200 256mb crucial ddr and i cant get ghost recon to work it was working fine on 98, but now that ive upgraded (and reinstalled it) it just goes black and then brings me back to my desktop, with the generic would you like to send a msg to microsoft crap? any ideas?

    If the patch doesn't fix anything for you, you may also want to try updating/changing your video card drivers. I remember even before the patch came out that so many people had problems with GR, and some problems were rectified by changing the video card drivers, especially for nVIDIA cards. If that doesn't work, post back and we'll see if something else works :)

    Great game, by the way. It took me awhile to get into it but now I want to play it everyday. Cya.

    I found that direcX was to blame!

    You may need the directX toolbox found in the download section of this site.

    Go into control panel
    click on the "direct3d" tab

    Check if not already:

    - Enumerate Ramp Rasterizer
    - Enumerate Reference Rasterizer
