Gforce 4 400mx

Hi guy's this may be a stupid question but I have a buddy who's getting a new video card and he going to give me his Gforce 4 400mx. I currently have a Gforce 2 400 mx can I just plug it in and use the same drivers or should I un-install all my video hardware and reinstall when I get it?

uninstall your current driver and reinstall them once the new card is in. the detonators only install the driver for your particular card so if you get a different nvidia card, you'll have to do it over so it installs the right one.

also, a good idea might be a detonator driver cleaner app. something that will wipe your registry of any nvidia entries. this will ensure you won't encounter any bugs and get the best performance.
