Try going in safe mode first. If that doesn't work, quit wasting your time with this and do a full format and reinstall.

Or boot to the XP CD and do a repair so you can get back the default files to replace the ones that you deleted.

Just reformat and reinstall the darn thing. You probably could have done that and restored all your files and then some in the time this thread has ran.
