A new show on Discovery Channel lays out the future weapons that will rule the battlefield. Last week the show talked about a fire and forget missle, as well as a gun that can shoot around corners. The show airs on wednesdays at 10, so when your watching mythbusters, stick around and see some really amazing artillery. This thread should be used to discuss any future weapons you know and want to share. Enjoy!

I understand that you can interchange the gun as well, like thats a pistol on it, i think you can change it to have an m16 equivalent.

Multi-Stage nuclear handhelds. First blast compresses the charge causing the actual detonation, and shielding and a second charge directs the energy.

Let's concentrate on feeding the children, not killing them.

    :) my 2 cents.

PS that shoot around the corner gun is useless once I toss a grenade.

"According to Forbes, in a recent test a 36-barrel gun fired bullets at a rate of a mind-boggling 1 million rounds a minute." well its reality now. But i do not think they will be using this all the time but its been done once atlease.

    /BUMP...

I went back to find the article which I read before, and no where does it say it actually fired 1 million rounds in a minute, it only shows the firing rate, if it could be held would fire at 1 million, darn it... I lost a lunch bet...

Techno you owe me one...

yeah your right, just saw a video on ifilm, it says how many rounds the fire in each firing.. stated off wiht like 20 then .. near the end they do 180 rounds less then a sec...this is how they get the 1,000,000 per min.

    Yeah...
The gun can not be reloaded, i believe it is a front loading gun or something, but it doesnt have a magazine, its in the barrel.
