(this will proberly be my 3rd post with no replies but here goes...)
I'm currently setting up an FTP site using IIS on a Windows 2000 Server machine. I am creating virtual directories pointing to shares on other servers and they all seem fine.
The problem is when I actully ftp to the site these virtual directories do not show, perfoming an dir (or LS) does not show any contents in the site. Yet if I 'cd' to the name of the virtual directory I have created it will enter the folder as if it does exsist. This isn't a massive issue for me since access to this FTP is going to be scripted from several sun systems, but I just wondered if this was a issue or a feature? Has anyone with a little more knowledge of IIS then me aware why this is done?
Come on people don't let this be my 3rd no replied to post!!!
