Freeze, but not?

So sometimes when i leave vista on, and take off for school, work, or just play, whne i return my PC is froze..but i can still move the mouse and ctrl+alt+delete works, but when i click task manager, i cannot click....im getting real annoyed with this..any ideas?

Try adjusting whatever power saving option you are using. It may be your disk does not like being turned off (default is 20 minutes) or some other setting that is being turned off.

Power Options > Click on change plan settings then change advanced power settings.

I did all that, and it still freaks out and freezes..i was watching the black Donnelly's online, and thats all i could do, nothing else, till it was over, then everything i had been trying to do, went all crazy speed...
