how do you completly format xp pro i keep reninstalling a new copy but when im done i still have all my old programs left

Go into your PCs BIOS and set the boot device to your CD-ROM drive.
Slap ya XP CD in the drive and reboot, when XP starts installing pick install, then choose to reformat.
Bobs ya uncle.. you get a fresh install of XP strangely enough!
