I have just been mailed by a friend who has bought a second hand "Dell Latitude CPt". It came with no driver CD and was infected with anything and everything so he did a format and installed Windows 2000 only now he has no sound.

Does anyone have a link or know where I can find these drivers??

    Thanks in advance

Took a look here and there is a "CPt C", "CPt S", "CPt V".

Thanks Xie and American Zombie, is there any way to tell which CPt model it will be?? This maybe a silly question but I've not seen the laptop and he doesn't seem to know which one it is. Is there something somwhere that identify it??

Not 100% sure but I would think there probably should be some sort of label on the laptop either on top or bottom telling what model it is.

yeah, shouldn't it be on the bottom with the laptop info (serial #, etc...)?

I just looked further and it will be NeoMagic NM2200/NM2360+AC97 w/o SB emulation as the others are for video. I have edited other post so only that link is there.
