My comany, quite rightly are a wee bit concerned that we don't get any viruses etc on our new Panasonic Toughbooks, but one of the things I would like to do is use it to send technical digital pics back to Head Office without having to use my own PC.
Probably a silly question, but would it be possible if a digi camera was plugged into a 'infected' computer that the extra memory compact flash/SD card could become infected, therby potentially infecting a 'clean' PC when connected up via USB and pics downloaded?
And if this WAS possible, would the use of a digi camera with built in memory and NO memory card prevent this?
Many thanks
