Firefox, web pages being redirected

    I live in Las Vegas, they keep getting redirected yo yellow pages, and vegas advertisements, no pron or anything, my pc is up to date and clean...

    At least you thought it was.
    Sound like maybe CoolWebSearch which you can get rid of with CWShredder or if you want to check the entries with HiJackThis and nail down the problem.

    What ISP do you have, several have begun to replace site they can't find w/ ads. Try opendns and see if you still have issues.

    I don't believe that they have started their targetted advertising yet, if you have doubts take a look at some alternate DNS servers, Google recently introduced theirs, Level 3 has always been really good, I don't suggest OpenDNS.

    4.2.2.2

    Read somewhere [not sure how much truth in it] but Level 3 is slowing closing off access to those DNS servers to the public. :(
