Has anyone had any experience using Waste? Some friends and I want to share some rather large files, but we want to be able to share those to other people ... but also don't want to be the only people wasting our bandwidth by purely leeching our bandwidth. When someone downloads through waste, do they automatically become a peer, and start sharing with other people?

I wanted a filesharing solution similar to Bit Torrent, but without trackers since I have yet to get the python and c++ tracker stable. Is Waste something I should look into?

Waste is basically invite only, you wont start sharing to anyone not on your "friends" list.

Yip .. It is a secure file sharing program. It is the same thing a aimster. You have to have the people you are sharing with in your buddy list. It is a nice prog if you use it with a couple of friends..

Also Hi EP and people. I found this place again while looking through a oooollllllldddd backup. I have filled over 10TB and was looking at my collection of antiques. Any bids on the 500Mhz Win 95 fix?
Any of the SP crew still out there?
